Capturing HTTP Headers on Mozilla Firefox

Capturing HTTP Headers on Mozilla Firefox

At times, Z Services Support may ask you to provide HTTP headers when troubleshooting certain issues. The HTTP headers identify the specific URL the browser accessed when you opened a web page. You can use Mozilla's Inspector tool to capture HTTP headers in Mozilla Firefox version 66.0.2. If you are running a different browser version, the steps might be different. For more information, see the Mozilla documentation.

Capturing HTTP Headers

1- In Firefox, go to the desired website.
2- Click the Menu button and then click Web Developer. The Web Developer menu appears.

3- In this menu, select Inspector. The Inspector window appears.

4- In this window, select the Network tab.

5- In the Network tab, right-click the element you wish to inspect and select Save All As HAR. In this view, the HTTP headers are also visible in the Headers box on the right-hand side.

6- Click OK in the dialog box that appears to download the file.
7- Send the saved file to the Z Services Support team.
